armor

Here's mister man demostrating the armor of God verse for his sisters. He tried to sneak a little Spiderman in but I nixed it.

Eph 6:10-17 (NIV) ...Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled round your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

No job for Brian yet but he's bound to get a job eventually right? We're dropping health insurance for our family in 5 days. It's $200 a month, which is pretty cheap but I would rather buy groceries. There is only so many beans and rice a person can eat in a week ;)

We have a long list of things that we want when Brian gets a job. I want Burgerville. Grae wants a Spiderman shirt. The girls want a meal of Kettle chips, ham, special cheese and hot cocoa, otherwise known as Sunday night special (thanks to the Shubins for the inspiration). I have to admit that sounds really, really good. I can not resist chips.

Anyway off to sew and try not to think about tasty, crunchy chips. Yummmmm.....

Oh Kettle Chips...yummy!!! My favorite are the New York Cheddar. I can't buy them because I'll eat the whole bag myself.

Good demonstration of the full armor of God - yay Grae! Hopefully a job for your hubby is on the horizon. (((HUGS)))
