See Molly there. That is a sick girl. We all had the fever, cough, sneeze thing last week but Molly got it the worst. Poor girl had a 102-103 degree fever for 6 DAYS! We almost took her to the ER but decided to wait it out. She wouldn't drink so every 10 minutes we fed her a couple of dropperfuls of juice. She was on expectorant, Tylenol, Motrin, lavender steam showers and lots of fluid. Her fever finally broke when we were going to take her to the doctor. I thought she might have had a secondary infection but nope, just a nasty virus. She's better now and back to bossing everyone around.
Well Ellie just said a weird thing. "Mommy, sometimes when I sit down my head feels big and I feel like I have dots all over my face."
Okay. I just smiled and said "Really?". That satisfied her.
No job for Brian yet. He's made the second cut for a job he's probably not qualified for but hey at least they looked at his resume. We're starting our new business, Miss Label, very soon. Maybe we'll be so busy at that he won't have to go back to work! That would be great. Well as long as he stayed in the back room and didn't bother us much during the day.
Well off to clean up Molly. She is a complete mess from dinner.

Joshua had a week long high fever earlier this winter. He was very weak (very!), wouldn't eat, and would hardly drink. I kept calling our doctor and he kept assuring us that he would get better. Finally, the night before we were going to take him in, he slept very well and woke up cheerful. He remained weak for several days afterwards, though. It was the weirdest, scariest thing!
ack! we just broke our fevers this morning after 7 days. this cold had me a little nervous because of the heavy chest congestion and fever. but...we waited it out. all 5 of my kids. i can relate to your weariness and i'm sure sleep deprived self.
