gray

Picking a gray paint is HARD! I have just three samples here but have added three more to the walls. Most trend lilac (which I don't want), blue (again, no) or cold. I want a warm gray that is a little muddy. I have found one that is too dark and muddy and another gray that is too crisp. I think I will have the paint store muddy up the crisp one and see.

I'm painting tomorrow so I had better decide. Sigh...

ITA - gray can be such a wierd color when you have something specific in your head that you want. I love the 'toasty gray' we used in our livingroom. I *think* we bought it at Home Depot but for sure that was the name. Maybe you'd like that. It's not quite gray, not quite beige. ;)

I need to go there tomorrow so I'll check it out. All colors are hard for me to choose except turquoise. I haven't met one I didn't like.

Oh Amy, I hope you find it. Grays are so hard. I can't wait to see pics of it all done!

i also have recently been painting walls gray and had the blue tint thing. then i found a gray i like....it's parker paint "seattle". i actually live in seattle and it really is gray like the paint and the paint like seattle. :) i think it's a good gray. i did have the paint store mix it with dutch boy dirt fighter in satin instead of parker paint.

good luck with your gray!
