Please excuse my crude photoshop attempt.

Teal:

Green:

Yellow:

Which one would you choose? Please keep in mind that the glass storm door covers a lot of it. The trim is white and there will be a covered porch next year (the wood and cement you see are temporary).
Here is a bad view of the whole front of the house last summer. The blue window trim is now painted white.

Hi. I looked at your post from June 14th so I could get a better look of the entire house. I think either white or red would look nice. You would probably end up priming it in white first anyway so you would have a good idea what the white would look like. It's only paint, if you don't like it, just repaint. I like your blog. Love the bookshelves in the hallway!
#1 - Yellow, #2 - Teal
It depends on the mood you want. Red is warm, welcome and inviting, but a lot of people have it. I really like the teal. Bright, original and friendly. But I also like the green too, kind of artsy, a little more subdued but still original. The only one I don't think I'd chose is the yellow. It just doesn't jive as much with the house color for me. And it would be harder to keep clean-for us anyway...
I like the red!
I like the teal as #1, but the green I think is a neat contrast too - that'd be my #2 choice. :-)
yellow. or try black.
Teal!
Green green green!!!
Here's one of my exterior green doors...

Your house is blue? I would go for a yellow door out of those colors, so long as it's a more complex yellow. (More of a dijon mustard color than a french's mustard, ya konw??)
What about black? Black doors pop and look great too.
Teal! With red accents. I traditionally love red doors but this one wasn't jiving with me.. so maybe just a slightly different shade of red?
I like the red, but I have a weakness for red doors. :-) I think the teal is pretty, too.
It's tough without knowing 1) your house style and true colors and 2) truly knowing your color preferences. (I'm fairly new to your blog).
But, I'm liking the Teal -- looks warm and inviting. The Red is a close second.
I really liked the green door best.
I think it is a great color combo with the blue.
Blessings Nellie
I am loving the teal!!! And I love your blog by the way! Found it yesterday and now I'm hooked! :)
I would pick up one of the other trim colors on your house. When looking at the last photo, I'd pick either white or the color of the trim around the windows. To add a fourth house color (you have the white and the darker trim plus the house color), would be too busy for me.
If you really wanted to use a different color, pick a brown to match your mulch, or pick up a fall leaf off the ground and have it color matched to the crimson and paint your door that color.
For paint colors, go to the Home Depot website and they have some software there where you can select an image similar to your home and try out paint colors online. I did this for my kitchen. While the actual paint itself was darker in a real life swatch than it appeared on my monitor, it did give me a chance to see what different colors might look like.
RED!!!! DEFINITELY RED!!!!
I love the teal. It really has a fresh clean look. The red is nice too, but I think there are too many red doors. I just came across your blog and really enjoy it. Can't wait to see what you decide.
Red or teal...thanks for sharing!
Most definitely RED! Heck with the neighbors :) Although, I do like the idea of black someone mentioned...I think the other colors would either be too much or too dated too quickly, but that's just me.
Red is my first choice; yellow is my second. Whatever you choose will be great!
teal or red. love them both for opposite reasons.
Green
Any of them except for the green.
Teal! But I've been painting everything standing still teal lately so my judgement could be off because of the paint fumes!
french gray would be nice ! I love the red too. the green and the yellow almost made me sick to my tummy and love the turquoise idea, but it's a bit tooo' turquoise. maybe if the photo wasn't just showing the door up so close we could judge a bit better so we can see how it would look in the distance with the full house. i agree with the one comment about priming it in white or even a tinted gray primer ! then you could tell a bit better.
more photoshop! ;)
